I get frustrated when I read about the animosity between journalists and public relations people.  I really enjoy working with the media, and I thought I’d give an example of how well we get along.  I left a message for a journalist I work with during the week, thinking he was back from vacation.  I didn’t hear back from him, which was unusual.  Then I got a message on Saturday that he had just gotten back from vacation and had stopped in the office briefly and returned my call. Now most people don’t return calls on the weekend, and certainly not right after getting back from vacation. But this guy did.  I wanted to give a shout out to journalist extraordinaire Ed Duggan, from the South Florida Business Journal.  It is a pleasure to work with you.  Best friends forever!
