Public Relations Opportunity: Wall Street Journal Top Small Workplaces Award
Posted January 11, 2008 by Margie Zable FisherBeing recognized as a great place to work has incredible benefits. Not only is it a great recruiting tool, but people would rather do business with a company that has happy employees.
This is the second year for the Wall Street Journal’s Top Small Workplaces award, and it’s a great opportunity for small businesses with great work environments to be recognized. Last year’s winners ranged from advertising agencies to health firms. Annual revenues ranged from $1.5 million to $102 million.
Here’s is the article about last year’s winners. The deadline to enter is February 1, 2008. To submit a nomination, go here.
Hi Margie,
Thanks for mentioning our awards program with the Journal and the nomination deadline. More info about the program criteria and timeline is available at http://www.winningworkplaces.org/topsmallbiz/2008/nominations/
In 2007 we had over 800 nominations, almost 700 people start applications and 437 completed applications. With the help of your readers, we hope to surpass all those numbers this year! Thanks again.
