I saw Tamar Geller, life coach for dogs (Oprah’s dogs are some of her clients) on Oprah yesterday.  In today’s USA Today there was a story on her, including information on the new book she has out, “The Loved Dog”.  She founded “The Loved Dog Center,” a doggie day care in Los Angeles, in 1996, and also does in-home training.

I have also seen her on “Who Gets the Dog” on Animal Planet. 

A former Israeli intelligence officer who became a dog trainer to the stars, I marvel at her branding.  She found a niche in the market, and owned it.  By the way, she has a sometimes hard to understand accent, but she has managed to get past that.
